"Our son
has attended Matthews Presbyterian Church Child
Development Center since he was nine months old.
The staff at MPC-CDC is remarkable! Though it was
hard to leave my son the first few days, I took
comfort in the kindness and caring the staff showed
not only my son, but me as well. The staff takes
care to foster excellent relationships with the
parents as well as with the children.
The small class size and student to teacher ratio
allow for individualized attention. The mornings are
carefully balanced between fun, interesting
activities and playtime. The three and four year old
classes also have the opportunity for short, nearby
field trips.
Our family was fortunate to have found such a
wonderful Mother's Morning Out program."

"Matthews Presbyterian gave both my boys the best
preschool experience available. The teacher
communication was excellent. I got a monthly
calendar and newsletter so I always knew what was
coming up next in their classes. I still keep in
touch with other preschool families. We were new to
the area when my boys started preschool and I soon
met many friends. Matthews Presbyterian has a
special place in my heart."

"I am
so grateful for this school and all the teachers. I
tell everyone who asks about Gianna's school, that I
trust everyone that works there, and how down to
earth everyone is."

"Over
the past six years we've had our three children
enrolled at Matthews Presbyterian Church Child
Development Center. I love that it is a smaller
preschool. The teachers and other families are all
so close and the children form such strong bonds
with each other since they typically spend multiple
years with the same classmates. The teachers are
always so positive and so open with the parents. I
love that my children have been so prepared for
starting kindergarten and they love that they have
developed such strong friendships. It has been a
great experience and we feel so lucky to have been a
part of the MPC-CDC family."

When
my son and I transitioned from me being a full-time
working mom to an at home mom, I wanted to find a
preschool for him so he could still socialize with
friends. Since we were coming from a five-star
daycare I wanted him at a school where he would be
safe and would still learn things that were
developmentally appropriate, helping him to learn at
his speed.
With each year he attended Matthews Presbyterian
CDC, he gained the base skills he needed to move on
to the next level and when he started kindergarten
he was ready for reading, writing and math. My
oldest has done so well that, although there are now
several preschools closer to our home in Union
County, I feel so confident in the skills and the
care he received that there is not another school to
which I’d consider sending my younger child. It also
is reassuring that our current 4 year old teacher is
an elementary education teacher, so she knows what
skills they need to prepare them for their
elementary years. I’m excited about how much my
youngest will learn in the 4’s class at MPC-CDC as
he prepares for his elementary school adventures!
